TUSD is listed on various top platforms, including <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinkickoff.com\/binance-review\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Binance<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/coinkickoff.com\/kucoin-review\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">KuCoin<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Online proof-of-reserves available through Chainlink \u2013 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">POR smart contract is supposed to ensure TUSD is backed up by reserves, at least in theory.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cons\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cons:<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Centralized stablecoin<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Many individuals trust the token more because it\u2019s centralized, while others believe that it\u2019s a risky investment.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Mysterious owners and opaque organization<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 TrueUSD is owned by a mysterious China-based company named Techteryx<\/span><b>.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Lack of regulation <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2013 Despite what you may read online (or on TrueUSD\u2019s own website), TUSD isn\u2019t a regulated stablecoin. It receives attestations (but not audits) from a public accounting firm, but the company isn\u2019t regulated.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Tiny market share<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 The TUSD token is the 5th largest stablecoin, which sounds impressive, but the picture is a little different when you consider its market share.
